Privacy policy
This policy covers the Eastlake Performance website at eastlakeperformance.com. It describes what the site collects, why, and what happens to it. It does not cover records the studio keeps about clients in the course of training, which are handled separately.
What the enquiry form collects
The consultation form asks for your name, email address, and optionally a phone number, a preferred time to be contacted, the training format you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message field. We use it for one thing: replying to your enquiry and arranging a consultation.
We do not add form submissions to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or share this information with third parties for their own marketing.
The form posts to this website's own server, which emails the enquiry to the studio. It does not pass through a third-party form service. What you typed is not sent to Google or Meta; the advertising tags described below are told only that an enquiry happened, not what it said.
Analytics and advertising
The site loads four measurement and advertising tags. They are the same ones the studio has been running, carried over unchanged:
- Google Analytics 4 — how many people visit and which pages they read. Used in aggregate; we are not trying to identify individual visitors.
- Google Tag Manager — a container that loads the tags above and below. It may load others we add later through the same container.
- Google Ads — measures whether an advert led to an enquiry, and builds remarketing audiences, which is what allows adverts for the studio to be shown to you on other sites afterwards.
- Meta Pixel — the equivalent for Facebook and Instagram adverts.
Between them these set cookies in your browser and send Google and Meta your IP address, the pages you viewed and, when you send the enquiry form, the fact that an enquiry was made. They do not receive what you typed into the form.
None of them loads while the page is still rendering — they are requested only once the page has finished loading and the browser is idle.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser add-on, adjust what Google shows you at My Ad Center and what Meta shows you in your Meta ad preferences, or block all of it with your browser's tracking protection.
Maps
The map on the contact page is a Google Maps embed, and Google may set cookies when it loads. It is not requested when the page opens — it loads only once you scroll down to it, so visitors who never reach the map never contact Google. If your browser has Data Saver turned on, it is not loaded at all unless you press the button asking for it.
Fonts
Typefaces are served from this website's own server, not from Google Fonts. No third party is contacted to render the text you are reading.
What we do not do
- No session recording or heatmap tools.
- No selling or renting of personal information.
- No adding enquiries to a mailing list.
- No automated follow-up sequences.
How long we keep enquiries
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they are useful for following up, and deleted when they are not. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, email us and we will do it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email info@eastlakeperformance.com and we will respond.
